At Waxwing Yarn, we are committed to sourcing, processing, and producing all of our yarn entirely within Canada—from fleece to finished skein. Our wool is always Canadian-grown and handled by trusted Canadian partners throughout scouring, spinning, and dyeing. In some cases, we’re able to source directly from individual farms. In others, we work with regional wool pools that gather high-quality fleece from a network of Canadian producers. No matter the source, our goal remains the same: to offer traceable, ethically produced yarn that reflects our values of sustainability, transparency, and local craftsmanship
