Meet Saule, named for the fluid, graceful lines of the willow.
Semi-worsted spun into a round, 3-ply construction, Saule brings together the resilient strength of Norbouillet wool from Norwood, Ontario, and the silky luster of mohair from Wellington Fibres in Elora, Ontario. The result is a yarn with exceptional stitch definition wrapped in a soft, silvery halo.
Left in its raw, undyed state, the natural, nuanced tones of the fibers shine through effortlessly. The inherent drape of mohair paired with the gentle bounce of wool gives Saule an exquisite fluid movement, making it a dream choice for cozy accessories, light-as-air shawls, and garments designed to be worn right next to the skin.
